Stockbridge Farm Barn

Stockbridge Farm Barn is a rural wedding venue on a working farm south of Sherborne. The main barn can seat up to 180 for a meal, according to the venue, with a separate bar and snug, courtyard and room for a different marquee arrangement. Choose the spaces you want to use before comparing guest numbers or quotations.

How many guests can attend?

The dining figure is not the ceremony limit. Dorset Council lists the Barn for 195 ceremony guests and the Old Workshop for 55, with the Garden Room as an outdoor ceremony area. Ask the team and registrar to confirm the approved layout for your ceremony, followed by the seated meal and evening celebration. Evening capacity is Venue to confirm.

Food, suppliers and practical costs

The venue welcomes outside caterers and other suppliers, and describes an adjacent catering kitchen. This gives you choices to discuss, but does not establish what every hire quotation includes. Ask for the furniture, staffing, kitchen access, bar arrangements and cleaning charges to be set out individually. Ask which units are available for your dates, whether they are separately charged and where the rest of your guests could stay.
